Andy Mikkelsen from Architectural Concept Management was a guest in the 7th grade math class today. He talked to the kids about square footage, showed them his architectural software so customers can see their design in 3D, showed them how to use an architectural scale ruler, and had them do an activity to find square footage of rooms on a blueprint. He even brought us a set of architectural scale rulers to keep in our classroom. Thanks, Andy! The 7th graders will put this knowledge to use by designing their dream homes that will be presented at our middle school showcase.
