We are so lucky to have community members able to share their knowledge and talents with our students! The 6th grade students had Mandy Spilde speak about embalming practices of the Ancient Egyptians.

The 8th grade students spend a morning with Mrs. Peggy Williams talking about the Homestead Act and how the town of Gettysburg was founded.

Also, Mr. Don Hericks spoke with the 8th graders about the proper way to fold our American Flag. Make sure you come to our Veteran's Day Program on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:45 a.m. to see and hear the meaning behind the folds of the flag.

🏐 Battler of the Week: LAYLA CRONIN! 🏐 Layla stepped up big this past week — staying calm and confident behind the service line when her team needed her most. With several clutch aces, she helped swing momentum and take control of close sets! 💪🔥 Her coach shared: “Layla is a very coachable and a disciplined athlete who’s always eager to improve. She brings nonstop hustle, a never-give-up attitude, and the hardest, most energizing high fives on the team!” 🙌 Layla, your focus, positivity, and drive to get stronger every day make you a true Battler. Congratulations! ❤️🖤 #BattlerOfTheWeek #GettysburgBattlers #Teamwork #VolleyballStrong #BattlerPride
