🏌️‍♂️ Battler of the Week: Wiley Cronin 🏌️‍♂️ Wiley capped off a great season with an impressive performance at the State Golf Meet. He shot a 73 (+1) on day one, his best round of the year, putting him in 2nd place heading into the final day and earning a spot in the final foursome. Wiley finished with a two day total of 156, earning 16th place medalist honors among the state’s top golfers. Good morning, Battlers! We have a large amount of athletic clothing that has been left in the old gym locker rooms. Please stop up at the school between 9-12 and 1-4 and get your items before Monday, June 8th. At noon on Monday all items will be gathered and donated so facilities can be prepped for next year. 🏆🔥 BATTLER OF THE WEEK: Emma Schlachter 🔥🏆 Congratulations to this week’s Battler of the Week, Emma Schlachter! 👏🏃‍♀️ Emma finished her senior track season in incredible fashion at the State Track Meet, earning an 8th-place finish in the 800m while setting a new school record! 💥 She also anchored the 4x800 relay team to a 3rd-place finish and another school record! 🥉⚡ While her accomplishments in the record books are impressive, Emma’s impact goes far beyond times and medals. She has been a tremendous role model for her teammates through her dedication, leadership, work ethic, and commitment to the program. 💙💛 Gettysburg Track will certainly miss Emma next season, but we’re excited to watch her continue her running career at Mount Marty University. Our Battler of the Week is Easton Rausch! 🔥👏 Easton continues to put in the work and it’s showing 💪 On Thursday, he hit a new personal record in Pole Vault, clearing 10’10” 🚀 while continuing to push himself to new heights heading into the State Meet 🏆 Coach praised Easton for the way he has competed for the team first all season long. Always stepping up and willing to run whatever event gives the team the best chance to succeed. His work ethic, attitude, and commitment make him a huge part of this team’s success. 💯 Congrats, Easton! Keep climbing 📈

The middle school student council got together yesterday afternoon to decorate their stump that is downtown. They did a great job. It looks fantastic!!

🏅 Battler of the Week 🏅 Congratulations to Jack Simon on being named this week’s Battler of the Week! Jack is absolutely on fire this season. After already resetting the GHS Javelin record earlier this year, he went out and broke his own record again this week with a massive throw of 140 feet. That is 35 feet farther than last season! Jack has also been stacking personal bests in the 100, 200, 400, and 300 hurdles while doing whatever the team needs week after week. Huge things happening this season for Jack and we cannot wait to see what he does next 🔥💪 #BattlerPride #athleteoftheweek

The region golf meet on Monday, May 18th has been postponed to Tuesday, May 19th due to predicted weather forecast.
