🏅 Battler of the Week 🏅
Congratulations to Jack Simon on being named this week’s Battler of the Week!
Jack is absolutely on fire this season. After already resetting the GHS Javelin record earlier this year, he went out and broke his own record again this week with a massive throw of 140 feet. That is 35 feet farther than last season!
Jack has also been stacking personal bests in the 100, 200, 400, and 300 hurdles while doing whatever the team needs week after week.
Huge things happening this season for Jack and we cannot wait to see what he does next 🔥💪 #BattlerPride #athleteoftheweek

Congratulations to Jace Wager!
Jace golfed his best round of the year at the conference meet while competing against a tough field and finished tied for 10th overall. His hard work, focus, and steady improvement all season continue to show every time he steps on the course.
Keep working, Jace!

The 2nd graders enjoyed a visit to the Dakota Sunset Museum today!

Help support our ✨5✨ FCCLA students who made it to nationals!

More pictures of all of the 'fun in fifth' this week.

5th grade had a busy week! We started the week off with the 3rd-5th field trip to Pierre to tour the state Capitol building. Wednesday we had our science fair showcase, and a guest speaker, Peter Hall, who shared his Lakota & Dakota heritage, and taught us about native agriculture. On Friday, we ended the week with the K-5th field day!

The 2nd grade class visited the community garden yesterday afternoon. While they were there they got to listen to some books about plants and they each got to plant their own plant. They also each received a new book to take home about fruits and vegetables.
