The Gettysburg School Fine Arts Booster Club sponsored an outing for high school students this Sunday, including lunch at Pizza Ranch. Students Gabby Goebel,, Kylee Phillips, Taytin Pope (Pictured left to right) and staff Kim Goebel and Marlys Jensen attended the Pierre Community Theatre Play "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde". We are hoping more students will attend next time! There are great opportunities to experience theatre not far from Gettysburg!

This group of students participated in the Acalympics in Pierre. They worked together as a team to recall all that they have learned in many different subjects. After 2 rounds, they were in a 3 way tie for 3rd place. 7 questions later to break the tie...they got beat out. They were all smiles and pleased with their performance! Go Battlers!

We’d like to take a moment to celebrate a truly special young woman...Miss Cameryn Logan!
When Mrs. Hansen was on medical and maternity leave, Miss Logan courageously and graciously stepped into the role of 3rd grade teacher. From day one, she led with heart, patience, and dedication. Alongside her mentor, Mrs. Wuttke, she poured her heart into these students by nurturing their growth, encouraging their confidence, and making each child feel seen and valued.
Her time with us may have been temporary, but the impact she made will last far beyond this school year. We are so grateful for the love and leadership she shared with our students.
We will miss her dearly, but we are incredibly excited to watch her journey unfold. The future is bright for you, Miss Logan — and we’re cheering you on every step of the way!

Senior captain, Emma Schlachter leads our team the Battler way with toughness, effort, and intensity every time she steps on the floor.
Emma leads the team in rebounding with over 9 boards per game, sets the tone defensively with 2.9 steals per game, and contributes 8.7 points and 2.6 assists per game offensively.
She plays hard every possession, leads by example, and brings consistency and grit to our team. We’re proud of the way she continues to lead and finish her senior season strong.
